Description
After the recent devastating war on the Gaza Strip, the search began for solutions, plans, and strategies to rebuild what had been destroyed and the lift the ruins from the ware-stricken areas. Below are some of the solutions and suggestions that contribute to reconstruction. It must be noted that the recent war on Gaza was one of the fiercest and most brutal wars the world has witnessed in modern history, as it led to widespread destruction. Most of Gaza’s infrastructure was destroyed: roads, neighborhoods, public institutions, residential areas, schools, universities, industrial and agricultural lands, and other vital facilities. Most residents were displaced, and vast numbers of homes were destroyed. In addition to this large-scale devastation, the Strip suffers from an already fragile reality: a suffocating blockade, limited resources, and its dependence on foreign aid. The current situation in Gaza is dire. It suffers from a sharp shortage in essential services, especially in the health, water, and electricity sectors, in addition to the overcrowding in most areas, the spread of poverty, and the inability of local institutions and organizations to meet the needs of the citizens, which makes it necessary to look for urgent solutions to ease the reality of displacement, hunger, and destruction.
