Description
This systematic review and meta-analysis aims to investigate the effects of cross-education training in patients undergoing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. The study will examine the effects of training the unaffected limb on muscle strength, patient-reported outcomes, clinical parameters, functional performance, knee-related quality of life, and return-to-sport readiness. It will also investigate whether the training effects are maintained after the intervention has ended, where data are available. The findings will be systematically synthesized, with meta-analysis conducted when appropriate, to provide evidence-based recommendations for ACL rehabilitation.
