Description

Navigo is a mobile application developed to enhance the organization, efficiency, and reliability of daily public transportation services in Palestine. The project addresses the current lack of a unified digital platform that supports licensed transportation providers, including microbuses, taxis, and buses operating on both local and university routes. The proposed system connects passengers with licensed drivers through a user-friendly mobile interface. It allows passengers to locate nearby vehicles, check seat availability, monitor real-time vehicle locations, and receive accurate estimated arrival times. For drivers, the application provides tools to manage trip status, update availability, and respond effectively to passenger requests. Additionally, an administrative dashboard is included to manage drivers, routes, and daily transportation operations. By integrating real-time tracking technologies, cloud-based services, and an intuitive interface, Navigo aims to improve transportation coordination, safety, and predictability. The system is expected to reduce waiting times and provide a more organized and reliable commuting experience for university students and the broader community.
