The Arachno TrackBot project aims to develop a spider-like robot capable of navigating through debris in disaster zones to support search and rescue operations. The robot is powered by a Raspberry Pi 4, coordinating sensors and control systems, and includes sensors such as a thermal camera, microphone, GPS, and IMU. Upon detecting a victim, the robot captures images and thermal data, which are then sent directly to the rescue team along with the location coordinates and body temperature. If any movement or sound is detected, the robot also sends alerts. This data helps rescue teams make quick and accurate decisions, improving the chances of saving lives and reducing risks. The robot is controlled manually, remotely, or through a specialized app.
