Topics in Post-Quantum Gravity

Description

Much work has been done on developing a consistent theory of classical-quantum interactions; however, it is non-trivial to create a relativistic framework for such classical quantum interactions or even for either of the two ingredients; open quantum fields, and stochastic classical fields. Yet, this issue must be addressed if we are to have a consistent, viable post-quantum theory of gravity based on https://arxiv.org/abs/1811.03116. Project topics include investigating Classical-quantum dynamics in curved space and on Lie groups, Relativistic extensions of open quantum systems and Lorentz violations in modified gravity, depending on student interest. There will be some incorporation of AI tools in the chosen project.
