This research focuses on understanding how AI is used in modern crimes and how AI-based detection systems can be developed to prevent and reduce these threats Problem Statement The rapid development and public accessibility of AI technologies have made it easier for criminals to conduct sophisticated crimes with minimal technical skills. Many victims are unable to distinguish between real and AI-generated content, which leads to financial loss, reputational damage, identity theft, and legal complications. Current security systems and laws are not fully prepared to handle crimes involving deepfakes, voice cloning, AI impersonation, and intelligent fraud techniques. There is a critical need for advanced detection tools and preventive strategies.
